Alberta Freeskier Programs
Vision: To continue creating passion in the sport of skiing and encourage the freedom it allows all of us to express.
The Alberta Freeskiers develop a broad range of athletes into competitive Freeskiers or skiers who purely enjoy the sport for the endless freedom it offers. Professionally certified and appropriately experienced freeskiing coaches train the athletes in the areas of basic avalanche awareness, big mountain technique & adaptation, risk assessment, terrain park, moguls, overall mountain safety and of course; Powder. Our coaches have a minimum five years of coaching and are certified through the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance and Canadian Coach Federation. From several years of experience of coaching children at all ages our coaches adapt to your child’s learning style to produce exceptionally gifted freeskiing athletes in there preferred discipline.
Freeskiers are provided with the opportunity to compete in various Junior Freeskiing competitions, ski races of there choice, terrain park (slopestyle, big air, half pipe) and mogul competitions. Another option for older athletes is to train towards acquiring there Level 1 Instructors or Coach to allow for future employment possibilities.
